Call for Nominations for 2025 Directors At Large (3 positions) and Treasurer (2025 & 2026)

SEGA ONS Chapter Nominating Committee is calling for nominations for the 4 positions slated for election for 2025 Board Members.

Chapter Leadership - Southeast Georgia (ons.org) (LINK)

Time expected per month: 2 meetings monthly except in June and July. Board meeting 1.5 hours usually every First Monday of the Month, and the Membership meeting the 3rd Thursday of the Month

Treasurer (required) (Two Years: 2025 & 2026)
1. The treasurer has the following responsibilities.
Develop an annual budget (all Board members plan), based on a review of the previous year’s budget and current goals and objectives as approved by the board of directors. (Refer to The Chapter Treasurer’s Handbook.)
2. Supervise the financial transactions of the chapter.
Maintain all chapter financial records associated with the 
office of treasurer in compliance with the policies and procedures established by the chapter board of directors and ONS National.
3.  Maintain systematic and accurate records of all chapter revenues and expenditures. (Established Forms)
4.  Prepare the treasurer’s report for the chapter president to sign and submit to ONS National by January 31 each year (Completed at Board Retreat with all Board input)
5. Prepare the treasurer’s report for presentation at each meeting of the chapter board of directors and the general chapter membership business meeting. 
6.  Perform other responsibilities designated by the chapter board of directors or ONS National. 

Director At Large (3 positions & we try to have a rep from SC in the mix) (1 year position)

Directors-at-large represent the general chapter membership on the board of directors. They perform responsibilities designated by the chapter board of directors and ensure transparency and abiding of Rules and Regulations by Board Members.
